CTI-24 VTOL UAV Flight Demo

On Friday 6 October 2023, a flying Deemo was held for the CTI-24 type VTOL UAV, at the Bogor Jonggol aeromodelling field. The activity ran smoothly and successfully, and was attended by several invitees including representatives from the TNI AD Ditopad and the TNI AL Dissenlek. 

The demo included a flying demo of the CTI-24 VTOL UAV carrying an EO & IR payload camera, which has 30X optical and 30X Digital zoom capabilities, as well as thermal and laser cameras. The demo began with preparation of the CTI-24 VTOL unit and preparation of the Ground Control Station (GCS), which included preparation of parameter input and creation of a flight plan. VTOL CTI-24 flew smoothly, and began to enter following the planned flight plan. There was also a demonstration of EO & IR payload camera capabilities such as zoom, taget lock, target tracking, thermal camera test and laser shutter which provides coordinate information for the targeted target. target.

The VTOL CTI-24 has specifications for a UAV body length of 163 cm, wingspan width of 450 cm and body height of 66 cm. It has the ability to carry a payload of up to 6 Kg, has a flight endurance of 2-5 hours, a max operating altitude of 4500 m and a service ceiling of up to 6000 m, and can fly at an economical speed of 72 km/hour. The most superior advantage compared to competitors of the same type is the mission capability of radius up to 100 Km.

The demo activity ran safely and smoothly, and ended with a photo session with all the crew and invitees.
